November Astrology 2022
November 1st is the halfway point between the equinox and the winter solstice celebrated as Samhain in Celtic tradition as the cross quarter days and as All Saints Day. This year November holds extra planetary energy to connect with universal mind intelligence. Jupiter has retrograded back into Pisces where it is the traditional ruler of that sign, which means it has a lot of strength to deliver on promises of being able to go beyond limitations and find opportunities to grow and learn.
Mars is retrograde and is retracing its steps for the next 2 ½ months. Wherever you feel you have rushed over something, especially around communication, travel plans and ideas, it will be natural to reconsider how much energy you have or want to extend towards those areas. It is a fabulous time to dust off the old journal or pick up the book you never finished, or the writing project that you shelved long ago. Remember Mars is action and in Gemini the action will be towards communication, ideas, travel, and connecting the dots that allow us to have a better flow in life.
Taurus Lunar Eclipse
On November 8th there is a lunar eclipse at 16 degrees of Taurus. This is another power day and is a time to reveal whatever has been hiding in the shadows in regards to your own personal power. If you have been harboring concerns around finances the full moon lunar eclipse will bring clarity for how to use your talents and personal gifts to support you in the material world.
What is exciting about this lunar eclipse is the full moon is exactly connected to the planet Uranus, the great awakener. Uranus is known as the planet that shakes up the norm in ways that are unexpected. The sun and moon are also connected to Saturn which indicates an ongoing pattern we have been experiencing between Uranus and Saturn. Do we break free from the past and live in the moment untethered by duty and responsibility? Or do we stay mindful of commitments we have made in order to fulfill our obligations? The push pull of this energy can manifest in many ways, sometimes a huge event such as quitting a job without a safety net and going out on your own, or as simple as charging your credit card for a spontaneous purchase when you made a promise to yourself to stay on budget. Relationships can be evolving at this time, with lovers, family, friends and the relationship with yourself.
Ultimately the full moon eclipse in Taurus wants us to know ourselves deeply enough to take action to break away if we are not being true to our values and find a path to build or rebuild a life of our dreams.
Venus is the planet that rules the sign of Taurus. She lends more meaning to the lunar eclipse as she is in the sign of Scorpio with the sun. The desire of Venus in Scorpio is to merge deeply into something that you find fascinating. The path with the sun can purify your wishes to get to the diamond core of what is most dear to you. The caution is not to get burnt out or overcome with obsession.
Venus spends half the month in Scorpio and on the 16th steps into the cosmic land of Sagittarius. Leaving behind that which no longer serves you and bringing lighter and carefree times ahead. She reminds us to know the difference if we are running towards something we want or if we are running from something we no longer want. Life is a journey and she is here to remind us there are no mistakes, simply experiences from which we can learn and grow.
The sun enters Sagittarius on the 22nd and is immediately followed by the new moon in Sagittarius on the 23rd which brings a joyful message to be with friends that are open minded, always ready to learn, and love a good adventure. The greatest friendship you can have is the one with yourself, therefore take to heart the gift this new moon brings and set your intentions.
Sagittarius New Moon
The Sagittarius new moon is the day before the USA Thanksgiving holiday weekend, traditionally a time of travel and gathering with friends and family. Jupiter, the planet that rules Sagittarius moves direct the day of the new moon which is setting the wind beneath our wings to take off and take a risk to have something that is dear to you. The cosmic channel to Jupiter is strong now, open up to the gift Jupiter brings of faith and confidence to go beyond your limitations and trust that you can find and learn what you need to know along the way to get to where you want to be.
2021 November Astrology
All Saints Day or Samhain on November 1st brings into awareness the sensitivity and connection we have with our ancestors and the thought of what we will (or will not) leave behind once we go beyond our mortal body. Mars spends the whole month of November in its own sign of Scorpio; there is strength all month for physical action and focused attention.
Scorpio New Moon November 4th
Uranus reminds us we are not in control of everything! The new moon on the 4th emphasizes these thoughts and questions. Uranus, the great awakener is at 12 degrees of Taurus exactly opposite the Scorpio new moon at 12 degrees. This degree symbol from M. E. Jones is: “An inventor experimenting. Keyword: Cleverness”. Uranus is the archetype of inventions that move humanity forward. Now is a time to open to the cosmic encyclopedia for information that allows for quantum leaps forward.
Because Jupiter stationed in October and is moving very slowly, Jupiter continues to set off the midpoint of Neptune and Pluto. Jupiter wants to enlarge whatever it touches and at the midpoint resonating with Neptune/Pluto it tends towards bringing out delusional or misguided thoughts, people or concepts. In other words don’t drink the Kool-Aid from a charismatic self-appointed savior. The positive side is the expanding knowledge of esoteric wisdom. Having essentially 3 full months of the universe supporting the light workers is a deep blessing indeed.
Venus and Mercury in Capricorn- Let’s get serious
Venus and Mercury both change signs on the 5th; Venus moving into serious no nonsense Capricorn seeking solid value in people and purchasing. Mercury in Scorpio is hearing the communication beyond the words spoken. It also lends the desire to learn and read about esoteric subjects of a metaphysical or psychological nature.
Venus at the 7th Gate in her return from the underworld
November 7th Venus meets with the moon at 3 degrees of Capricorn at the 7th gate; the crown Chakra as she returns back from the underworld in her 584 day journey. She is completing her journey that began in 2020 and this is a time to regain ones “crown” wisdom and feminine empowerment. The next new Venus cycle 584 day cycle is in January 2022.
November Lunar Eclipse in Taurus- Moving to Spiritual Connective Community
The Full moon on the 19th is a lunar eclipse in Taurus. This is the beginning of the shift from our last 18 months of Gemini Sagittarius eclipses segueing into the Taurus Scorpio axis. The Taurus moon at 27 degrees is with Sedna a symbol that encompasses the embodiment of spiritual life and wisdom after a long journey that included delusions, disappointments and mishaps. The desire to feel safe and supported in a community or place on earth where one can allow their innate gifts to flourish prevails.
The Sabian symbol from M. E. Jones: “A woman pursued by mature romance. Keyword: Persuasion” Rudhyar version: “A Woman, Past Her “Change Of Life”, Experiences A New Love.” In astrology our Chiron return around 52 years, and the second Saturn return around 58-59 is the time of deep wisdom brought about from the rough waters of life that lead us to experiences of new values and loves. The Taurus eclipsed moon is ruled by Venus in Capricorn whose symbol is M. E. Jones: A fire worshipper. Keyword: Magic. Venus in Capricorn is a no nonsense earthy vibe, she knows her value and what is valuable to her.
Are you feeling the magic of this Taurus lunar eclipse? It is loaded with the mystical vibration of going deep into sensing the cosmic mysteries to draw towards your life what creates lasting security and brings deep value and meaning.

Sun in Sagittarius and its hopeful optimism takes us into December; knowing that whatever the year brought a New Year is only a month away.

Mercury is stationing to move direct on the election day of the USA November 3rd at 25 degrees of Libra square Saturn. One of the interpretations of Mercury in the sign of Libra is that it seeks justice and fairness. However this Mercury is connected to restrictive Saturn which is being sad over news or problematic information. Certainly for the division in the USA along party lines whoever wins the election many will feel this Saturn/Mercury vibe. Moreover the day of Mercury direct the Moon is at the exact degree in Sagittarius as the lunar eclipse we had June 5th. Events unfold that lead back to what was happening in June.
Mercury enters Scorpio on November 10th where it will stay for the remainder of the month helping us research or uncover reasons or solutions as we travel towards the end of 2020 and prepare for 2021. The weekend also highlights sexy Venus in Scorpio opposite Uranus in Taurus shaking up relationships that are rigid or possessive. Since Venus wants what she wants and Scorpio has a connection with credit cards; there is a temptation to buy more than you had anticipated. BTW with the strong Neptune, guard your card and purchases against fraud.
Neptune Stations direct on Saturday the 28th, the USA holiday weekend. When a planet stations about to change direction, retrograde or forward, the intensity of what that planet represents is felt for three days before and after. Neptune has the distinct characteristic of being the planet that envelopes us in a fog that inhibits us to see things clearly. Its purpose is to show us that by sitting still in the midst of the unknown when you can’t see the material world the inner world of spirit will guide you. On a less philosophical note, Neptune is known to create a blur and foggy thinking through a few glasses of wine or cocktails. It is great time to lose oneself of the problems of the ‘real’ world through enjoying music and movies.
The month ends as it began, with the rays of a full moon. The full moon Lunar eclipse is Monday the 30th at 8 degrees of Gemini will be felt during the weekend. Mercury in Scorpio rules the Lunar eclipse sending our mind and thoughts down into the depths of what is at the bedrock of why we believe what we believe. Truths are revealed at this time as well as what we want to learn as it becomes obvious that new knowledge is essential as we move into 2021. November Astrology 2018
Quick read for the main message this month? There are positive vibes for resolving complicated situations as Venus moves direct in harmony with Mars.
November astrology dances around several significant astrological events. There are a couple of big cosmic announcements; Jupiter leaves Scorpio and moves into Sagittarius, Mercury will go retrograde, Venus moves direct, Uranus dip back into Aries, Neptune moves direct and the moons nodes changing signs, along with the all-important new moon and full moon.
The nodes of the moon have been spending the last 18 months in Leo/Aquarius axis, giving us the push to follow our heart, open creativity and now they will spend the next 18 months in the Cancer/Capricorn axis with the north node in Cancer ruled by the ever changing moon, it can be a roller coaster ride in determining what exactly it is that brings us inner peace, tranquility, and safety. There can be several sudden snaps that catapult you into thinking what makes you feel safe and secure and early November can give you the clue of what you will be bringing or adjusting into your life in the next year and a half. Because Cancer is ruled by the moon, and the moon moves through the 12 signs every month, this is the reason for the uncertainty. Yet it is about capturing the essence and positive qualities of each of the signs in respect to what they offer for emotional fulfillment. Take a look at your personal chart and notice what house the sign Cancer falls in your chart and the domain of that area of life will take greater significance.
November 6th Uranus, which made its debut into Taurus May 15th, dips back into Aries until March 6th 2019 when it is firmly back into Taurus for the next 7 years. (Check out more about Uranus in Taurus here.) When these outer planets shift into a new sign, but retrograde back into the previous sign for a short period, we get a taste of what to expect for the future, and a chance to recap and complete what was not finished or adapted to during the previous 7 years when Uranus was in Aries. For the next four months, while Uranus revisits Aries, it is a reminder to embrace who you are with love for your uniqueness and individuality. Uranus in Aries paved the way for self-expression and acceptance for being different, following one’s own path even if it is deviates from cultural norms. Evidence of this is seen in the acceptance of autistic adults being hired and honored for their gifts in the work place whereas in the past they would not even been giving a chance. Other examples can be found in the transgender community, the disabled and Paralympics and more.
The Scorpio new moon is on the 7th of November at 11:02am EST, set your intentions according to Scorpio elements and the house that the new moon falls in your chart. The new moon in Scorpio has Venus in Libra opposite Uranus in Taurus and all the planets contained between those 2 planets. Imagine a volley ball net, with one person holding up one pole of the net, and the other holding up the other and the net in a nice straight line, but all of the players are on one side and no one on the other. That is what it looks like with the planets and what it means is that circumstances can be lopsided. You can get a lot accomplished in half the day, then the other half nothing seems to happen. Mars rules the new moon, along with Pluto the modern ruler. These 2 planets want action and passion. Cultivating what you feel passionate about is the key to successful endeavors this month. Mars in Aquarius is trine Venus in Libra, if you have had differences with partners, now is a time to find common ground and move forward.
Jupiter moves back into its home territory of Sagittarius on November 8th (the first time back home since late 2006) and will stay there until December 2nd 2019. Jupiter moving into Sagittarius can lighten the load if you have felt burdened with responsibilities or obligations. It isn’t a complete free pass from our duties, as Saturn and Pluto are in Capricorn, however it is being able to see possibilities that are around the corner in your future. Jupiter in Sagittarius shouts that the truth will set you free. Seeking your truth and living according to it will feel so good. Wherever Jupiter is traveling through your chart, whatever that house represents Jupiter brings an opportunity and protection to have more.
Mars moves into watery Pisces on the 15th switching our motivation planet towards introspection, self-less service and giving an extra push to put effort into meditation, yoga, and creative expressions. Friday the 16th is a very interesting day with Venus and Mercury switching gears. Venus gets off the retrograde track and moves direct while Mercury decides to retrace its steps at 13 degrees of Sagittarius retrograding back into Scorpio before moving direct at 27 degrees.
Venus is quite happy the month of November retrograde or direct as she is in the sign she rules of Libra for the whole month. Lovely times can be had with Venus in Libra when you plan for easy going parties, social events, art festivals, music and the like. Mercury on the other hand is quite mischievous as not only is he out of bounds, meaning jumped the fence and decides to play by his own rules, he moves retrograde at the node of Uranus promising many surprise and unpredictable announcements. Here in the USA November has its mid-term elections, deciphering the truth from the rhetoric will be tricky.
The Sun announces its arrival into Sagittarius on November 22nd, Thanksgiving Day in the USA with great fanfare rushing towards the full moon and Jupiter. The exuberance of whatever happens it will all be OK rings from all corners. Food will be bountiful for the Thanksgiving feast as the Moon resides in Taurus, who has a keen knack to bring to the table delicious rich food.
It might feel like half the world is on the road trying to get home Sunday the 25th/ Monday 26th as Mercury retrograde is square Mars. Get ready for people butting in line, at the airport or on the highway. Relief comes with the yearly meeting with the Sun and Jupiter. Last year there was a lot of hype over Sun conjunct Jupiter, saying it is the luckiest day of the Year. Don’t believe the hype, but it is a nice vibe that reminds us to look to the positive, all those old saying, silver linings, glass half full, etc etc. It is a time to ask for help from the universe to have more faith and confidence that you can achieve something you may have trepidation over. Yes you can do it, the Sun/Jupiter says. Maybe others have done it too, maybe not, it doesn’t matter. What matters is you can do it and all you need is the motivation and confidence and it is yours. It is a great way to say good bye to November.

The full moon in Taurus on the 4th will shine the light on what may be cluttering up your mind, body or spirit. This full moon has Venus at the same degree that the last new moon in Libra was. It is opposite Uranus and is the ruler of the Moon in Taurus. An emphasis on relationships is brought up once again, and if your significant other and you have gotten into a routine that is boring now is a time to shake it up and add excitement. With Venus moving into Scorpio on the 7th and connecting with Jupiter on the 13th, relationships take a turn towards deep intimacy. This is also a good time to double check your financial status to make sure that all is safe and sound with your credit history and lock up your personal information for hackers not to steal your identity.

The Scorpio new moon on the 18th at 26 degrees is exactly opposite Sedna at 26 degrees of Taurus which is conjunct the fixed star Caput Algol, a fixed star with negative connotations of losing one’s head over something. Rash or impulsive decisions that you may regret latter are quite possible, especially around sexual or financial situations. Since Sedna embodies the archetype of feeling misled or betrayed and Scorpio can get very upset when she is betrayed, this is a time to think before you leap into any situation. Couple with this vibe is Mars in Libra square Pluto in Capricorn, revenge and anger at being mistreated is highly likely.
The positive side of this energy is diving deep into the subconscious to uncover gems of wisdom that have held you back from your own intuition, intrinsic empowerment and creative juices that when used help you to be in charge of your own destiny.

It is a time to look towards the future and dream big. In the USA it is Thanksgiving time, and one of the busiest times of year for travel. As great as Neptune is for imagination and dreaming, it can create havoc for a busy travel day. Double check all your documents, times, and other traveling details so you have no hiccup at the airport.
The month finishes with Mercury connected to Saturn at the degree of the galactic center. Under some circumstances Mercury with Saturn can be depressing, or a tough time to study, or serious thoughts. All of which are true to a certain extent, but connected to the Galactic center brings in a new realm of thinking in such a way that will lead you towards your place in the universe. A purification of intentions are happening now. Excellent time for deep meditations to go into the void of deep space where there is no thinking but pure consciousness.

Venus is connected with the heliocentric node of mars, emphasizing connecting with what or who you love and desire. Jealousy can rear its head, where one feels that life has shortchanged them and others have something more that you. Be conscious not to fall into those feelings.
Saturn is opposite Sedna, the archetypal principle of being conned or let down in life, where what we that if we did this, or went there, or did that, then life would turn out a certain way and we find out that no, the hope or promise of what we thought or expected was a lie.
If you don’t have the sense that your life has meaning, that you are wasting your time, not accomplishing what you came onto the planet to do, then the full moon can be an emotionally trying time.
There are 4 new cycles in November, Mars conjunct Pluto on the 10th, Venus with Saturn on the 12th, Sun with Saturn on the 18th and Mercury with Saturn on the 25th. A new cycle is when 2 planets are at the same degree in a sign.
Mars Pluto can stir up deep urge to have ones way and not be blocked by outside circumstances or others who want to control or manipulate you. On the other hand Mars Pluto also stirs up anger issues, any deep seated frustrations can come to the surface, especially those dealing with Capricorn areas, such as around your work, your boss, the government and all policies that are enforced that you feel boxed in by.
Venus with Saturn is tough on relationships that are struggling, you can feel alone and misunderstood. This is a good time to take a hard look at what is most important to you and eliminate the extraneous.
Sun Saturn is a good day to reassess your career and life goals. Again with the emphasis on making a commitment to have what you want in life, do something about it and cut out that which is no longer serving you.
Mercury Saturn can be a day where you find your mind mulling over how to get something accomplished and having thoughts of all the obstacles in the way. Yet it is a good time to make plans that need a step by step program in order to fulfill a larger goal.
Venus leaves Scorpio and enters Sagittarius on the 18th, a precursor for our upcoming medley of Sagittarian times. Venus in Sag reminds us of the value of travel and learning for the sake of knowing something more. The need to seek greener pastures has momentum from the previous message to reevaluate what is working in your life and what isn’t.
The Sun enters Sagittarius the day of the new moon on November 22nd 7:32am EST, hence the new moon in Sag is 0 degrees. The yearly splash into lets have fun and leave the past behind Sag is altered with a Neptune influence as Neptune in Pisces is squaring the new moon and Venus. This can show up as knowing you want something more, but unclear about how to go about it. There may also be many reminders around you of the suffering or helplessness of others around you. One of the best ways to use this energy is in deep meditation and creative endeavors. Spiritual growth and development are powerful messages at this time.
Mercury enters Sagittarius on the 27th filling our mind with strong opinions. Have faith and hold onto the affirmations that support you in believing in your life and your future.
Full Moon in Gemini December 2014.
The full moon on December 6th is on the heliocentric node of Uranus, shaking up the norm to include more in life that expands the boundaries of your comfort zone. While most astrologers overlook the planetary nodes the evidence of their impact is obvious. The December full moon is given the name the cold moon, or long nights moon by tradition for the northern hemisphere.
The degree of the full moon is at 14. Look at your chart to see where the full moon is falling. The monthly astrology forecast will give you a clue yet that is based upon setting the ascendant the same as your sun sign. This is a common practice among astrologers, in fact, there is a thought that once you have finished your first Saturn return, your chart will operate as if your sun is on the ascendent. However in my experience I find both have meaning but where the new moon and full moon fall in your houses will definately tell you more about how to know what will come up for you during the full moon.
And even more important, what to pay attention to so you can tap into the message from the astrology to activate and fortify different areas of your life.
