Saturn in Capricorn will take us on a journey that explores the values that Capricorn values; respect, patience, preservation, history, preparing and planning are all part of what will become prevalent over the next 3 years. Saturn enters Capricorn December 19th 2017 and will be traveling through the sign all of 2018, 2019, 2020 when it will briefly cross the border to Aquarius April, May and June 2020 before slipping back into the final pass of Capricorn for the rest of the year before it reenters Aquarius on December 17th 2020. Historically when Saturn was in Capricorn in 1929-1932 was the great depression, 1959- 1962 the Cuban missile crises, cold war fears, and 6 month bear market, in 1989 fall of the Berlin Wall. The era of the great depression required the most conservative use of all material, to squeeze the most out of every tea bag so to speak and masses of people were forced to make due with what they had. The next go around with Saturn in Capricorn between 1959 – 1962 was filled with fear of communism and of being bombed which resulted in the covert missions in Vietnam to keep the communist at bay along with the space race to the moon, to not be outdone and have the prestige of getting there first. Also during this time civil rights and the demand for respect regardless of race, religion or sex. 1989 saw the fall of the Berlin wall, symbolic of the breaking down of old regimes.
